Project Description :

The Nouris Confectionery Store project was developed in two main phases — facade design and interior renovation — with the goal of transforming a traditional pastry shop in central Tehran into a modern and visually distinctive retail space.

One of the client’s key requests was to make the storefront facade stand out on the main street. Given the building’s low height (two floors), the design strategy focused on visually extending the upper facade by incorporating the parapet and part of the ground floor ceiling height to achieve a taller, more elegant exterior appearance.

Inside the store, the interior layout was designed based on functional zoning, separating areas for bread, sweets, and dried products. The mezzanine level was creatively used as a showcase area, allowing customers to view parts of the product preparation process — adding transparency and engagement to the brand experience.

The spatial arrangement placed the bread section toward the rear of the store and the dry products near the entrance to attract customers visually. Warm lighting, natural materials, and brand-inspired colors were used to create an inviting and modern retail environment.

This project represents a perfect example of modern pastry shop interior design in Tehran, combining functionality, visual identity, and customer experience.
