Project Description:
The Mabna Office Building is located within the Tehran Science and Technology Park and was developed in two main design phases: interior design and façade design. One of the key challenges was designing a six-story administrative building on a sloped site, ensuring both functional efficiency and architectural harmony.
The façade concept aimed to establish visual and conceptual continuity with the Mabna Central Office Building. Similar to the previous project, a protective architectural skin was designed over the glazed façade—this time using expanded metal panels as the main material.
This perforated metal shell not only enhances the building’s aesthetic quality but also serves a functional role in solar shading, heat control, and energy efficiency. More than 70% of the façade surface consists of glass, protected by the expanded metal screen, giving the building a modern and high-tech appearance.
